What is PRONTO IQ?
PRONTO IQ is a training website for automotive technicians with over 100 hours of streaming automotive, diagnostic, diesel, transmission, shop management and scan tool training videos, training resources, diagrams, reading materials, quizzes, and interactive resources. Technical training has never been so easy!

This new and exciting program is designed to add significant value to your company by providing quality training for technicians and service writers. We are especially happy to introduce this program to our members which we developed in conjunction with Automotive Video.
How do I take classes?
In order to take classes at PRONTO IQ you will need to create a free user account.
Next, select your courses or training bundles, follow the enrollment and payment buttons and once your transaction is complete you will be enrolled in your class.
Classes you are enrolled in will appear under the My Courses menu on the right hand sidebar of the webpage.
How much does an account cost?
It is free create an account and get started on Pronto IQ.
You will only pay for each individual course you choose.
How do I create an account?
Getting started with PRONTO IQ training is easy! Simply follow the steps on the "Get Started" page to register an account. Next, you will choose your courses and enroll. It really is that easy! Take as many classes at a time as you like or need. So what are you waiting for?

Why can't I log in to my account?
If you can not log into your account and are certain your credentials are correct, you may want to try and restart your browser and try again.
You may have an issue with your computer using 'autocomplete' with incorrect info.
If you cannot resolve the issue, try to reset your password, just in case, then contact support if all else fails.
I lost my username. What now?
If you forget your username or password, click on the "Help me log in" button under "Forgotten your username or password?" on the login form.

How do I enroll in a class?
In order to enroll in a class, you must first purchase your class with Paypal or any major credit card. Once the transaction is complete, you will be automatically enrolled in your course on PRONTO IQ.
All of the courses you are enrolled in are listed in the top right hand side of the screen under My Courses.
How do I pay for a class?
Once you have decided which class you would like to take, click on the "Enroll Now" button at the bottom of the course description.
- Log in to your PRONTO IQ account here. (If you do not have an account yet, click here.)
- Use the "Send payment via Paypal" button to complete the transaction online.
- Once the payment process has been completed, you will be able to login and begin your class.
What if I don't have PayPal?
Don't worry, if you don't have a Paypal account, you can still pay online with any major credit card.
Once you are redirected to Paypal to complete your purchase, you will have two options:
- Have a PayPal account?
- Pay with Bill Me Later, Debit or Credit Card
Simply select the option to pay with a debit or credit card, fill in your information and complete the transaction.
Where do I get an enrollment key?
Most users will simply pay via PayPal and the 'enrollment key' does not apply to them. You would have been given an enrollment key by your instructor or training consultant if needed.
How long can I use the classes?
You will have full access to each course for 90 days from the date of enrollment.
Bundles are available for 1 year from the date of enrollment.
Can I have more time?
It helps to pay attention to the course or bundle enrollment time and plan your training time accordingly. Should you need additional time you may contact us in order to arrange to make a payment for more enrollment time.
Where are my classes?
After you have completed a payment for your classes, you can find them under My Courses in the top right hand corner of the screen.
Why is my class gone?
First, please make sure you are logged in under the account that purchased the class. There is no way to access the information through a second account.
Once you have exceeded the 90 day enrollment period, your class will no longer be available to you.
How do I get my manual?
You will find the course's Supplement Manual under the Resources and Supplements section inside each course. To begin the download, simply click on the link.
Where did my manual download to?
Everyone's computer has a different setting, but many PC's download to the "Downloads" folder. This folder can be found under "Documents > Downloads."
You should also check your Desktop for the Manual.
How do I get my certificate?
You must complete the course Post Test with an 80% or greater in order to earn a certificate of completion.
After completing the Post Test, click on the Certificate of Satisfactory Completion link to download your certificate.
What is the difference between a Pronto/VIP account and a User Account?
Pronto/VIP accounts give your shop access to discounted pricing for each Pronto IQ course. You can login to your Pronto/VIP account here.
User Accounts give each technician access to their Pronto IQ course, complete with a personalized Certificate of Completion. You can login to your User Account here.
What is a Pronto/VIP account?
Pronto/VIP accounts are given to Pronto/VIP and Smart Choice member shops to view discount prices on all of our training programs.
How do I get a Pronto/VIP account?
In order to get a Pronto/VIP account, you will need to contact your Pronto account rep.
What does 'course was not available for my domain' mean?
This message indicates an authentication problem between the website and your computer.
Typically restarting your internet browser and logging back in will fix the issue. In some cases, power cycling your computer or router may be needed.
This issue can also be the result of issues with your school or companies network, and you will need to contact your network admin for assistance.
What are 'interactive transcripts'?
Interactive transcripts allow you to search and navigate through various sections of a video.
Transcripts follow along with the video, highlighting individual words as they're said. They allow you to click on any word to jump to that exactly point in the video. The best part is: transcripts are 100% searchable.
How can I search a video?
There are various ways to search a video on PRONTO IQ.
- Click on any word in the transcript to play the video from that exact point
- Use the search bar at the top to search the video for keywords or direct speech
